Het Slotervaart
Installation BODIES & SUBWOOFERS
Het Slotervaart, situated in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, where both the building itself and the surrounding organizations are being repurposed. Together, they lay the foundation for De Plantijn, a future vibrant district in Amsterdam. During the FIBER Festival, visitors can experience the sound installation "BODIES AND SUBWOOFERS (B.A.S.)" by artist Stefanie Egedy within the historic shooting range. This installation explores interactions between sub-bass, infrasound, bodies, and subwoofers, offering a unique sensory experience.

Bar Theo
Bar Session (Fri. May 31)
Bar Theo, at the Rozengracht in Amsterdam, is named after Theo Ruiter, who once ran a café in the same premises and is remembered as a hero in the Jordaan. Because he rescued a German officer from the water during the war, he was in the favour of the occupying forces. Ruiter used this position to free countless Amsterdammers from German hands. After the war, his Café Theo Ruiter became a place where poets, musicians and artists such as J.C. Bloem and Remco Campert gathered. In line with the building's history, today's Bar Theo offers a stage to creative people.
