The next panel we are joined by PYUR (Sophie Schnell and Kasimyn (hulubalang) fresh off their Thursday concert at BIMHUIS, for a panel on electronic music and sonic worldbuilding.Together, they will discuss how they translate their inspirations and fascinations with alternative realities and how these can be manifested through image and sound.
Mark Schunemann, together with Dr. Amir Vudka will take us on a trip (pun intended) into the intersection of culture and psychedelics. Can psychedelics play a role in shaping ecological futures? And what are the possible influences and crossovers between psychedelic practices and music, visual culture, and technological developments?
Finally, esteemed media theorist, professor, and writer McKenzie Wark will deliver a performative lecture, followed by a Q&A. How can we understand raving as a form of resistance? Join us as we investigate the transformative power of raving bodies amidst social and individual disorder
