This was day 1 of FIBER Festival 2024!

Thank you for joining us on the first day of FIBER Festival 2024!

We look back on our otherworldly opening concert at Het Orgelpark, where we drifted away with the eerie soundscapes of Casimir Geelhoed and visited spectral realms with Maria W Horn and Mats Erlandsson. The former church was beautifully transformed by Zalán Szakács’ dreamy light sculptures, which left their ghostly traces along the walls of the Orgelpark. Scroll through Sabine van Nistelrooij’s beautiful images to get a feel of the evening—you have to only imagine the sublime sound of the organs reverberating through the space.

Now, on to day 2! Today we’d like to invite you to join us at 17:30, at Door Open Space for the opening of the exhibition ‘Outer/Body’. There, until the end of the festival, seven artists will share their perspectives on the interconnectedness of bodies with technological, ecological, sensory, and political systems, spanning multiple art forms, from film to sculpture to light installation, and more. Entrance to our exhibition opening is free!

And later, we invite you to Memory Vessels, our second concert evening at the Bimhuis, where we will explore potent, visceral emotions with PYUR and Hulubalang feat. Brandon Tay.

Tickets for tonight's concert are going fast! Make sure you buy your tickets on time.

This is only the beginning! We’ve curated a stellar programme for you, unfolding over the next four days across Amsterdam. We hope to see you around!
