Festival line-up complete: final acts announced

Surprise additions!

Saturday evening at Door Open Space, screening Kiev Eternal, visual contribution by orah.

With: Bjarte Wildeman (Performance), Heinali (screening & excerpt), orah (Live Visuals)

Wait, the festival was complete right? Yes, yes.. but we still had a few final special additions up our sleeve as final icing on the cake. Dive right in, and don’t forget to get your tickets before the festival starts this Wednesday. Sales are going fast!

On Saturday evening you are invited to join a festive night exhibition session at Door Open Space with drinks, music, the embodied performance tens:ding [bending over backwards] by Bjarte Wildeman and more. A special evening during Amsterdam Art Weekend. This performance plays with the beauty, interdependencies and the struggle of the relationships between individuals and explores (queer) joy and the idea of (im)balance. “How far do you contort Yourself to accommodate for Another?” Come to Door Open Space from 20:30 on (free with exhibition ticket).

Context Programme: We are honoured to screen an excerpt from the audiovisual edition of Kiev Eternal by the Ukrainian artist Heinali (Oleh Shpudeiko) on Saturday. A tribute album to the city he loves, which changed forever after the brutal full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Join us to experience a part of the beautiful album and to commemorate.

And last-but-not least, we are very excited that Nexcyia’s live performance will be supported by a new visual design by the Rotterdam based artist orah (Deborah Mora). She developed a special film contribution based on Adam Dove's latest album Endless Path of Memory, which will be presented during his live AV performance at Brakke Grond.

That’s it. We’re ready for the festival. You?
Don’t sleep on getting those tickets!
